How to bring graying sheets back to life: an easy way to whiten them
White sheets are popular not only in hotels - for their bedroom, many people choose a minimalist design instead of bright prints. But there is one significant disadvantage - even high-quality bed linen begins to gray over time.
To return "to life" graying sheets do not always help expensive means for washing. OBOZREVATEL picked up an effective lifehack, which can quickly and cheaply whiten bed linen at home.
This method was popular with people of the older generation. You will need two ingredients - manganese and laundry soap.

Dilute a solution of manganese in a container of water. Do not bring it to a bright color. The water should become only slightly pink.
Grate laundry soap on a kitchen grater. Two tablespoons will be enough.
Add the soap to the solution of manganese and soak the sheets. Do not wash immediately - let the bedding lie in the solution for a few hours. Then you should wash the sheets in the usual way in a washing machine.
You can also use bleach and boil the sheets in boiling water.
