How often you should wash your clothes: experts gave advice on the essentials

Sometimes it seems like life is almost half of laundry. No sooner do you take one batch of dried clothes off the dryer than the dirty laundry basket is full again. Cleaning experts reckon: If this story is just about you, you probably do at least some of your laundry too often.
According to iNews, some studies show that about one in five washes clothes that have not even had time to get dirty. And this is a waste of time, water, electricity and detergents, which are also far from being free. In addition, laundry wears clothes out.
When to wash clothes correctly
The rule here is simple: unless we are talking about underwear that is in direct contact with the body, or things in which you sweat, it is not necessary to send them to the wash after one wear. If the thing does not smell or you do not see obvious dirt on it, it is quite possible to wear it again. Conditionally, the optimal frequency of washing can be called, depending on the type of things:
- any underwear and socks - after each wear;
- bras - after you have worn it 4-7 times;
- T-shirts, shirts, blouses - 2-3 times, if you do not sweat a lot, in the heat they have to be washed more often;
- skirts can be worn 4-5 times before the next wash;
- pants - wash after 2-3 times;
- dresses - after 2-3 times.
How to take care of clothes between washes
To always have clean clothes, you don't need to wash them every time. You can stick to simple care tips.
Shake it out and air it out
When you take the garment off, shake it right away to clean the dust off. Then hang it in an airy place to freshen it up.
Steam
Using a simple steamer will eliminate all faint odors, remove minor dirt, and smooth out creases at the same time. This treatment is much more delicate than a full wash, and at the same time can replace it, if the thing is not dirty.
Get stains out
Small stains on clothing can be washed without washing the whole thing. The main thing is to do it at once and use cool water, because hot water will only drive the stain deeper into the fibers and fix it, especially if it has a protein origin
