On March 20, there was still snow in the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The snow cover may remain on the tops of the mountains even until summer.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on it on its Telegram channel and shared photos on how the Chornohora ridge looks like now. Mountain rescuer Vasyl Fitsak took the pictures and made public on Facebook.

"Incredible spring day," the State Emergency Service wrote.

The agency reminded that there could be snow in the highlands until summer. "Therefore, if you plan to go on a hike, take into account the weather forecast and make sure it is safe to climb," the State Emergency Service warned.

Recall that on March 21, weather forecasters predict above-zero temperatures across the country, but light rains are expected in some regions. In particular, precipitation is expected in the western, northern and central regions.

As OBOZREVATEL reported:

- From March 22, weather forecasters predict a sharp warming in Ukraine. The temperature is expected to rise to +19 degrees.

- In April 2023, our country is expected to experience changeable weather with temperature differences. The second month of spring will be gloomier than March.

- According to Wisemeteo, this spring will be cool and dry, and real warmth in Ukraine will come only from the second half of the season.
