In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops continue to terrorise the civilian population. After a series of powerful shelling, the invaders started a hunt for guerrillas in the city.

In this way, the Russians are trying to suppress popular resistance. This was reported by Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram.

According to him, the Russian occupiers have recently been seeing Ukrainian partisans everywhere. That is why the enemy is organising raids in residential buildings and trying to identify people who support Ukraine.

Dozens of occupiers with dogs staged one such raid in a multi-storey building in Melitopol.

"Right now, dozens of police officers with dogs are once again searching one of the high-rise buildings in the city centre. However, terrorising civilians will not help reduce people's resistance. No matter how hard they try, the searchers will come for you," said Fedorov.

Recall that in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, a group of Russians and Ukrainian traitors have been terrorising farmers. Members of the gang are "taking away" their crops and sharing money with local FSB officers, for which they receive a number of privileges.

Earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for a counter-offensive operation. This is connected, in particular, with the explosions in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, which have become regular in recent weeks.
