On Sunday night, August 27, a series of loud explosions were heard in the Russian city of Kursk. The Russian Defense Ministry said that it was an Air Defense operation against "Ukrainian UAVs" once again.

The Russian Defense Ministry said allegedly "the Kyiv regime made another attempt of terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation overnight and on Sunday morning." It claimed that "UAVs" were flying in the RF.

"Air Defense means detected and destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Bryansk and Kursk regions," the agency reassured Russians.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Kursk also complained about the alleged attack of "Ukrainian" UAVs on August 20. Local authorities said that one drone crashed into the building of the railway station, where a fire broke out and five people were injured.
