Another country refused to host the World Cup, where Russians and Belarusians were allowed

The French Fencing Federation has announced its refusal to host the World Cup among epee fencers, which is scheduled for May 19-21 this year. This is how one of Ukraine's allies reacted to the admission of Russians and Belarusians to international tournaments in this sport.
This was reported by the official website of the FFF. "Due to the impossibility of complying with the requirements of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) regarding the admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to the men's World Cup in epee fencing scheduled for May 19-21 in Saint-Maur-de-Fossé, the French Fencing Federation announces the cancellation of the tournament in 2023," the statement reads.
Earlier, a similar boycott was noted by Germany and Finland. Besides, Ukrainian fencers will not take part in the competitions with representatives of the aggressor countries.
Let's remind, the FIE banned Ukrainian symbols at the Grand Prix in South Korea, forbidding to support our country.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the first vice-president of the Russian Fencing Federation (RFF) Oleg Lavrichev once again visited the occupied territory of Ukraine, and posed with the symbol of aggression "Z " together with the military from the Russian Federation.
