A very important factor: ISW explains how rumors about Kadyrov's condition can hit Putin
Rumors continue to circulate in the information space about the deteriorating health of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. This continued concern about his condition indicates that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is dependent on Kadyrov to maintain stability in Chechnya.
The Kremlin leader fears destabilization of the Kadyrov regime in the Chechen Republic. This is stated in the analysis of the Institute for War Studies.
It is worth noting that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed on September 15 that Kadyrov was in a coma. This information sparked rumors of Kadyrov's deteriorating health. Some "insider sources" even began to claim the death of the Chechen leader.
In turn, Kadyrov published a video message on his Telegram channel on September 17, in which he allegedly dispelled rumors of his deteriorating health.
ISW analysts are confident that the destabilization of Kadyrov's regime in Chechnya will be a serious blow to Putin's regime. This is partly because the establishment of the regime in Chechnya through a brutal and bloody war played an important role in Putin's early popularity in Russia.
Also, Kadyrov and other Russian officials may be concerned that rumors about his health will affect the long-term stability and, by extension, Putin's control over Chechnya.

At the same time, unusual activity of cars with Chechen license plates was noticed in Moscow near the Central Clinical Hospital, where, according to Russian media, Kadyrov was hospitalized after his condition rapidly deteriorated.
