Some of the trees planted back then have survived to this day and witnessed many historical events. Today, the Syretsky Arboretum is located on an area of 6.5 hectares and is home to more than 1,150 species of plants from all over the world: North America, China, Japan, and the Far East.

Orangery at VDNKh (Holosiivskyi district, 1 Akademika Hlushkova avenue)
A truly unique place. The collection of plants from three different climatic zones - desert, tropics and subtropics - is of extraordinary value, and it has been grown for 60 years.
In the fall, the facade of the building turns an amazing red color thanks to the decorative grapes, so you will get beautiful photos against the building. Located on a steep slope, the park is divided into two terraces - upper and lower. The first part is a large observation deck from which you will contemplate the breathtaking panorama of Kyiv. From this place you can see the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, and behind the earthen ramparts of the bastion you can see the domes of the ancient Church of the Savior on Berestovo. The lower tier has playgrounds, gazebos, and various green spaces.

Before the Second World War, the village of Vodnykiv was located here.
Nowadays, on Trukhaniv Island you will find several beaches, a bicycle route, and entertainment complexes.
