What to make with persimmons: a low-calorie dessert idea
Persimmons make a delicious dessert, such as pancakes. It is quick to prepare and low in calories because it does not contain sugar. The dough is based on water and natural ingredients.
Nutritionist Irena with the nickname irena_sportpro shared a recipe for persimmon pancakes on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- whole wheat flour – 3 tbsp.
- baking powder – 0.5 dessert spoon
- sweetener – 2 tsp.
- eggs – 1 pc.
- water – 100 ml
- persimmon – 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Persimmon cut into thin rings, if it is hard, or thick, if soft.
2. For the dough, mix the flour, baking powder, sweetener, egg and water. The mass should be homogeneous and without lumps.
3. Dip the persimmon ring into the dough and put it on a preheated frying pan with oil. Fry on both sides until cooked.
4. Serve the finished pancakes with yogurt.
