Tomatoes with garlic and cheese: perfect appetizer to make for the holidays

Ordinary tomatoes can be used to make a very delicious and simple appetizer. For this appetizer, you will need plain cheese and boiled eggs. All the necessary ingredients are simply mixed like a salad and put on a vegetable circle.

The idea of making snack tomatoes for the New Year was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria (cook_with_me_at_home). The dish will take you a maximum of 15 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

• large tomatoes - 2 pcs.
• eggs - 3 pcs.
• hard cheese - 100 g
• mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
• garlic - 2 cloves
• spices: salt, pepper - to taste,
• dill - a few sprigs
• lettuce leaves

Method of preparation:

1. Boil and cool the eggs.

2. Grate eggs and cheese on a coarse grater.

3. Add chopped dill and spices.

4. Season with mayonnaise and squeezed garlic.

5. Stir.

6. Cut the tomatoes into wide slices.

7. Put a leaf of lettuce on each circle and top with the cheese and egg mixture.

8. Garnish with dill if desired.
