Tastier and easier than pizza: fish, vegetable, and cheese pie
Savory pies are the best alternative to pizzas, which are not always successful. Pies can be made from different doughs and with different fillings. The most delicious will be with fish, minced meat, mushrooms, vegetables, onions, and eggs.
Cook Tetiana shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious, light appetizer pie made from puff pastry with fish filling.
Ingredients:
- puff pastry – 1 package
- salmon – 500 g
- mozzarella – 125 g
- cherry tomatoes – 200 g
- breadcrumbs – 1 tbsp.
For the filling:
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- cream cheese – 200 g
- starch – 1 tbsp.
- spices – 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Put the dough in a mold and form small sides, be sure to cut off the excess.
2. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
3. Cut the fish and cheese into cubes. Cut the tomatoes into 2-4 pieces.
4. Put the fish, cheese, and tomatoes on the dough.
5. Filling: combine eggs, cream cheese, starch, and spices, and mix until smooth.
6. Pour the filling onto the base and bake for 40-45 minutes at 180 C.
