Salad and side dish in one: made from green beans with peas and eggs

If you want to make a tasty and satisfying, yet light salad, choose the simplest ingredients, such as beans, eggs, and onions. It is best to dress salads with natural yogurt, sour cream, oil, or homemade mayonnaise.

On Instagram, cook Tetiana shared a recipe for a delicious, healthy salad made from green beans, eggs, and canned peas.

Ingredients:

  • green beans - 400 g
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • canned peas - 1 can
  • green onions - a bunch
  • mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp.
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves.
  • ground pepper - to taste
  • mustard in grains - 1 tsp.
  • pickled cucumbers - 2-3 pcs.

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the beans into 2-3 pieces if they are fresh, and if they are frozen, you can simply boil them in salted water for 5 minutes.

2. Drain and rinse well with cold water. Leave for a while to cool completely and all the water runs off.

3. Put the beans in a bowl, add the diced eggs, green peas, and chopped onion.

4. Season the salad with mayonnaise, garlic, black pepper and mustard, mix thoroughly.

This salad can be either a side dish or a complete dinner.
