Pita tubes with potatoes in 20 minutes: how to cook an elementary dish

If you want to make a quick breakfast, lunch, or just a snack, pita bread tubes are a great option. You can make them with different fillings: cheese and herbs, vegetables, minced meat, or even sausages. Such lazy tubes are quickly cooked in the oven or in a frying pan.

Food blogger Yulia with the nickname zefirok_for_you shared a recipe for hearty pita bread potato tubes on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • pita bread
  • boiled potatoes
  • mozzarella
  • butter
  • dill
  • salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. First, boil the potatoes and mash them into a paste.

2. Add butter, grated cheese, chopped herbs, salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.

3. Cut the pita bread into strips, put the filling on one side of each strip and roll it into a tube.

4. Fry the tubes in butter until golden brown.
