Mimosa Salad with a secret: a new salad recipe
Mimosa salad can be prepared with sardines, as well as tuna, baked mackerel, and even melted cheese and rice. To make the salad unusual, add pickled onions to the base.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious Mimosa with tuna and melted cheese, which will taste very tender.
Ingredients:
- onion - 1 pc.
- salt and sugar - 1 tsp.
- vinegar - 1 tbsp.
- potatoes - 2 pcs.
- carrots - 2 pcs
- tuna - 2 cans
- eggs - 5 pcs.
- processed cheese - 2 pcs.
- mayonnaise - 200 g
- green onions
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the onion, add salt, sugar, vinegar and cover with boiling water for 15 minutes. Strain and combine with the tuna.
2. Put the grated boiled potatoes in the ring with the first layer, season with salt and pepper, then a layer of mayonnaise.
3. Next, put the tuna with onions and grated processed cheese.
4. The next layer is finely grated boiled carrots. Season with salt and pepper, and spread with mayonnaise.
5. Then go grated egg white, and mayonnaise and sprinkle with egg yolk on top.
6. Put the salad in the refrigerator for a few hours, remove the cooking ring, and garnish with onions.
