Light salad with beets without mayonnaise: a delicious dish for every day
Beets are a versatile and always available vegetable that can be used to make light salads for every day. Beets are especially tasty when combined with onions, prunes, raisins, spices, garlic, sour cream, and some other vegetables.
One of the culinary blogs (recepti_dariko) on Instagram published a recipe for a simple beetroot salad with a spicy sour cream dressing.
Recipe for beetroot salad without mayonnaise

Ingredients:
- boiled beets – 400-450 g (2 pcs)
- hard cheese – 100 g
- boiled eggs – 3 pcs
Dressing:
- sour cream – 2-3 tbsp.
- horseradish – 2 tbsp
- fresh dill – a bunch
- salt – 1/2 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the beets in advance. When ready, grate it.

2. Grate cheese and eggs as well.
3. For the dressing, mix sour cream, horseradish, salt, and finely chopped dill.
