Many people refuse to eat liver because of its specific bitterness. But by preparing a delicious salad with mayonnaise and liver, there is a high probability that everyone will like this dish, even those who have never eaten it before. Liver in such dishes goes well with hard cheese, mushrooms, and even canned pineapples.
Food blogger Maryna Novikova (marisha_recepti) shared a recipe for a festive salad with chicken liver and pineapples on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver - 400 g
- canned pineapples - 1 b
- marinated mushrooms - 1 b
- hard cheese - 200 g
- garlic - 2 cloves
- mayonnaise
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Boil liver and cut it into strips. Put it on the bottom of a flat plate. This will be the first layer of the salad. Spread mayonnaise with chopped garlic and pepper on top.
2. Chop mushrooms and put them on a plate. This will be the second layer of the salad. Spread with mayonnaise.
3. Cut pineapples and put them on a plate. This will be the grated layer of the salad. Spread with mayonnaise.
4. Grate cheese and sprinkle over the salad.
