How to cut mangoes correctly: sharing a simple technology

Mango is a delicious and colorful exotic fruit. And its season is in summer. Many people associate mangoes with the sea, beach, and sun. But the flesh of the fruit is very juicy, so to eat it easily, you need to cut the fruit properly.

How to cut a mango?
1. Place the mango on a board, "edge" (pit) up.
2. Visually identify the vertical center.
3. Step back 2-3 cm from the center and cut off the right and left "cheeks" of the mango. The middle is the pit, but there is a lot of flesh around it, which can also be easily cut off.
4. Now take the "cheeks", they are the ones with all the flesh.
5. Make vertical cuts without cutting through the skin.
6. Then make horizontal cuts to get squares of +- the same size.
7. Now you need to press down on the bottom of the "cheeks" to open the mango. These halves will look like hedgehogs. It looks good, and convenient for serving.
