How to cook currant jam in 7 minutes: a simple recipe
Homemade currant jam is very tasty and healthy. The syrup in the canning has a rich color, in which whole and sweet berries float. For a brighter taste and flavor, the jam can be supplemented with citrus fruits: lemon or orange.
- water - 3 tbsp
- currants - 6 tbsp
- sugar - 9 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. First you need to carefully sort out all the currants.
2. Next, in a saucepan with a thick bottom, mix all the ingredients: currants, water and sugar. Place on the fire, bring to a boil and cook for 7 minutes.
3 Meanwhile, sterilize the jars and lids.
4. Pour the hot jam into jars and close with lids. Turn the jars upside down, cover with something warm and leave until completely cooled. Done!
