Homemade sponge cake that always turns out well: sharing the perfect proportions
Sponge cake is a wonderful home-made pastry that can be filled with a filling, eaten on its own, or used to make cakes and other desserts. To make it soft, airy, and fluffy, you need to combine the ingredients and prepare the dough correctly.
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- sugar - 170 g
- flour - 4 tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. First, beat the eggs and sugar until completely dissolved and a fluffy light foam is formed.
2. Sift the flour, add the baking powder and vanilla. Mix well.
3. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, stirring gently with a spatula. The dough should be lump-free.
4. Pour the finished batter into the mold and bake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes. It's ready!
