Budget Mimosa salad for the New Year's in a new way: what fish to prepare with
Mimosa is a salad that, along with Olivier and Shuba, is prepared for the New Year. Most often, the dish is made with tuna. But it can also be made with sprats, which is more budget-friendly and satisfying.
The idea of making a festive Mimosa with sprats was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Lyubov Prymak (lyubaprima_1). The dish can be garnished with herbs on top.

Ingredients:
- baked potatoes and carrots - 2 pieces each
- sprats - 2 cans
- mayonnaise
- onions - 2 pcs. fried
- hard cheese
- eggs
Method of preparation:

1. Boil and grate the eggs.
2. Grate the carrots and potatoes.

3. Fry the onion.
4. Add 3 tbsp of sour cream and 1 tbsp of mild mustard to the carrots.

5. Add the same ingredients to the eggs.

6. Divide the fish into pieces.
7. Put all the ingredients in layers, spreading a little mayonnaise on each one.

8. The top should be grated cheese. You don't need to grease it with mayonnaise.
