Ingredients:

  • blackcurrants - 1 kg
  • sugar - 1 kg
  • water - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Remove the twigs from the currants and put them in a saucepan. Add water and half the sugar.

2. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes over high heat, stirring all the time.

 

3. Then remove from the heat, pour in the other half of the sugar, stir thoroughly to melt the sugar.

4. Pour the jam into sterile jars and close hermetically.
