Beet and apple vitamin salad: what to dress it with
When the cold season comes, it is very important to enrich your body with the necessary vitamins. In this case, affordable vegetables and fruits are perfect. It is best to make a salad from them.
The idea of preparing a vitamin salad of beets and apples was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana Levitska (lanas_diet). It is very important to avoid fatty dressings (mayonnaise and cream sauces) and choose oil with juice.
Ingredients:
- ready-made beets (baked/boiled)
- apple (about a third of the amount of beets)
- garlic - 1-2 cloves
- juice of 1/3 lemon
- oil for dressing
- salt, pepper, herbs
- raisins
- nuts
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the beets and apple on a coarse grater.
2. Squeeze the garlic.
3. Sprinkle with lemon.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Add raisins and nuts.
6. Season with oil.
