Yulia Sanina appeared on the red carpet of the BAFTA TV 2024 Film Awards in London and showed off the statuette she received

The famous Ukrainian singer and leader of The Hardkiss, Yulia Sanina, who last year co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on behalf of Ukraine, has won the BAFTA TV Awards 2024 for Best Live Show. On May 12, the star took to the red carpet in a white dress by Ukrainian brand VALERY KŌVALSKA.

She pulled her hair back, creating a wet effect, and her dress almost completely exposed her legs thanks to the translucent fabric. Due to the warm weather in the usually gloomy and rainy London (UK), the singer even wore sandals but chose only long oval-shaped earrings and a white bag as accessories. Sanina announced her invitation to BAFTA TV on InstaStories.

"Friends, I'm in London. Today I am invited as a guest of honor at the BAFTA Awards. Because Eurovision [2023] is nominated for the best live show. We were nominated for last year's Eurovision and I was invited to be here with the BBC team, the Eurovision team, and everyone who worked on this show," Sanina said.

Together with the Ukrainian, the award was shared by the BBC film crew and co-host actress Anna Waddingham. Later, Sanina showed on social media how proudly she was holding the statuette in the form of a theater mask and told how happy she was to win the nomination.

"Just now, Eurovision has won the Best Live Show nomination. We got a BAFTA, the whole team got this award. And it's just wow! It's the best ending to this magical story that could have been," the singer said.

A funny video with the winners of the show was also posted on the TV award's Instagram page. They seemed to be calling a vintage landline and shouting: "Yes! I did it!", "We won!", etc. Among the stars was Yulia Sanina, holding a statuette.

The Best Live Show nomination was competed for:

• Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
• The coronation concert in honor of Charles III.
• Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.
