"You don't know anything": Kozlovsky's wife admits what surprises her most as a young mother

Yulia Bakumenko, wife of Ukrainian singer Vitaliy Kozlovsky and a PR specialist, said what surprises her about people for almost 10 months after she became a mother. She drew attention to the unsolicited advice of people telling her how best to take care of her 9-month-old son Oscar.

In her InstaStories, Yulia Bakumenko spoke out about her painful experiences and told about several such cases. However, she is not against quality and constructive advice that can be useful, rather than criticism.

"The thing that surprises me the most in almost 10 months of being a mom is people who give advice in the style of 'I'm so cool and smart, so now I'm going to show it off and devalue your experience because you're not as good as me, and I'm good'. This does not apply to advice that is correct, appropriate, and caring. Because I get such advice here, and from my friends, and a lot of useful life hacks have appeared this way," Bakumenko explained.

Using real-life examples, she said that Oscar is a very mobile child, so he needs to be watched all the time. "You can also put Oscar on the grass or on a snowball. In an hour, he will be somewhere in Brovary," the PR specialist admitted.

Others did not like the fact that Yulia had accustomed the child to the regimen and was not going to break it, because this way she could adjust her personal plans to take time off from the child. "So how should I do it: the way it is convenient for the child and me, or the way I am supposed to do it?" the young mother said.

At the same time, she praised "supermoms" who manage to do all the housework and look after their children. However, Bakumenko claims that she has been reproached for her preference to delegate tasks and for choosing to devote all of herself to her child rather than doing 10 things at once.

"It used to be like that because there was no way out and we had to cope and survive. And well done to you for doing so. But today, if it's not critical circumstances, what's the need for this? In my understanding, the priority is what is most important and what you cannot delegate. Quality time with your child and family, an interesting profession, your personal development, and your health are things that no one can do for you. So this is the main thing. Everything else depends on the situation," she added.
