"You can listen to it endlessly": Jerry Heil delighted with the Ukrainian version of the hit of Eurovision 2023 favorite Loreen. Video

Already on Saturday, May 13, a grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is expected, and the Swedish singer Loreen is predicted to win. Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil (real name - Yana Shemayeva) was inspired by her song Tattoo and decided to translate the track into Ukrainian. The artist also recorded an acoustic arrangement on the piano.

The star shared the video on her Instagram. By the way, in the publication, she noted her Swedish colleague. Ukrainians emphasized that after Jana's cover, they fell in love with Loreen's composition even more (to see the video, scroll to the end of the page).

"It's not them that I care about. But for some reason my heart is guilt-free. Your name tickles right here. It won't come off like a tattoo. I don't care about this pain. I'm used to the winds and the waves. I go to your voice, and there. Your name is like a tattoo," sang Jerry Heil.

"Can you make a full version? Your rendition of the song is different and also beautiful", "I even went to look for the original, thanks to you I heard this song. I did not accept it at Eurovision because of the image and production. But the acoustic version on her (Loreen - ed.) page and your translation just wow", "It feels like the first warm sun", "It's just unreal, you can listen endlessly", - read the compliments of Shemayeva's fans under the post.

Recall that the 39-year-old performer of Moroccan origin, Loreen, caused a furor on the Eurovision stage in 2012, winning first place with the song Euphoria. This year's contest song is about how to keep love despite all the pain and despair. In an interview, the star called her work Tattoo "a dark dance-pop track."

The Eurovision finals will start today at 22:00 Kyiv time. OBOZREVATEL will conduct a text online broadcast.

Recently OBOZREVATEL wrote about which countries in the history of Eurovision most often took the last place. The list of losers includes Norway, Germany, and Finland. To find out which states have never won an international singing competition, follow this link.
