Yefrosinina puts Ukrainian fans of " The Word of the Boy" and Russian music in their place: people are dying for you right now

Yefrosinina addressed fans of Russian content

Ukrainian TV presenter Masha Yefrosinina reacted to the Ukrainian excitement around the Russian series "The Word of a Boy. Blood on the Asphalt". The star expressed her indignation at the fact that media professionals and ordinary citizens are defending their "right" to listen and watch Russian content, forgetting that Ukrainian soldiers are dying for them at this time.

The artist addressed the fans of the Russian project on Instagram, not mincing words. In order to bring the fans of Russian content to their senses a little bit, she talked about how people live in the now-occupied Mariupol.

The celebrity started by saying that she was surprised and angry that Ukrainians still consume music and movie projects of the enemy country. In particular, she saw Ukrainian bloggers discussing and promoting "The Word of the Boy" to their large audience.

"They can't f*cking live without wondering what's going on in this hall. The other day I had a conversation with a friend of mine whose mother stayed in Mariupol. I want to say to all those who listen to Asti, Basta - Ukrainians, by the way - and promote them in their profiles, imagine the situation in Mariupol in your city," said Masha Yefrosinina.

She advised Ukrainians who forget that their country is at war with Russia and continue to defend Russian content to put themselves in the shoes of people under occupation.

"When you can't get medical care if you don't have a Russian passport. You will always be under repression. You don't have your apps, access to Instagram, the Internet, TikTok, because they say it's necessary. You cannot open your mouth on any other topic, and even if you are gay, you belong in prison," the celebrity said emotionally.

She sent fans of Russian TV shows, movies, and music to Russia and shamed them, reminding them that "Ukrainian men and women are dying for their s*x right now, this minute, this second."

As you know, in late fall, the TV series "The Word of the Boy" began to gain popularity in Ukraine, romanticizing the USSR, robbery and crime.

The film stars the son of the main critic of the Putin regime, musician and frontman of the band Mashina Vremeni, Andrii Makarevich.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, along with the rapidly gaining popularity of the series, the song "Pyyala" by the Russian band Aigel, which is the soundtrack of the same project, reached the first place in the Top 100 in Ukraine rating on Apple Music.

For those who believe that there are no analogs to the Russian series among Ukrainian films, OBOZ.UA has made a special selection. In it, we have collected five projects about the "gangster 90s" that you can watch instead of The Word of the Boy.
