1. Olivia Cooke
English actress Olivia Cooke got the role of the wayward lady Alicent Hightower, the second wife of King Viserys I, as well as the former best friend and rival of Rhaenyra Targaryen. This character usually wears exquisite dresses with a puffy hem, decorated with precious stones. Her hairstyles changed: sometimes just long wavy hair, sometimes with neatly pinned strands. In real life, Olivia has thick, wavy dark brown hair and wears casual clothes or elegant dresses.

2. Emma D'Arcy
Emma D'Arcy play Rhaenyra Targaryen, the eldest daughter of King Viserys and the wife of Daemon Targaryen. For this role, they were nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2023. This is quite ironic since Emma is a non-binary person and uses the pronoun they/them.
In the series, D'Arcy is the Queen of Westeros from the Valyrian Targaryen dynasty; a warrior woman with long blond hair, wearing lush dresses and cloaks. The English actor Matt Smith played the role of Daemon Targaryen, second husband of Rhaenyra Targaryen, prince of the Targaryen dynasty, and the younger brother of King Viserys. This character is an unsurpassed warrior and the rider of the dragon Caraxes. He has medium-length white hair and wears costumes similar to those of warlike Japanese samurai. Off-screen, Matt is a charismatic man with short chocolate hair who loves to wear smart suits and classic shoes.

British actor Steve Toussaint played the role of the adventurous rich man Lord Corlys Velaryon. Welsh actor and musician Rhys Ivans played the cunning and politically ambitious strategist Otto Hightower, father of Alicent Hightower, a knight of House Hightower, and the right-hand man of the king under Jaehaerys I, Viserys I, and Aegon II. In real life, the celebrity has a less thick beard and lighter hair color than his character. Regarding his style, he prefers classic suits and jeans with T-shirts.

7. Paddy Considine
British actor, director and screenwriter Paddy Considine played the role of King Viserys I Targaryen. At the beginning of the first season, you can still see who is "hiding" behind the makeup and costume. But later, when His Majesty starts wearing a golden mask, the look becomes eerie and unrecognizable. In his off-screen life, Paddy has a stubble and a short haircut that harmoniously complement his strict costumes.

English theater and film actor Tom Glynn-Carney played the role of King Aegon II Targaryen, the firstborn son of Viserys I Targaryen and Alicent Hightower. He has medium-length white hair and wears dark clothes in the style of the Middle Ages, which he often complements with a massive gold chain. Tom, unlike his character, has light brown hair and wears classic suits, vests and shirts.

10. Phia Saban
English actress Fia Saban plays the role of Elaena Targaryen, an eccentric queen of Westeros who married her brother King Aegon II and has the gift of prophecy (though she cannot always make sense of her visions).
