Who helped "Shaman" escape from Ukraine and why his grandmother Sofia Rotaru avoids contact with people. Exclusive

Insider reveals exclusive details about Sofia Rotaru and her grandson Anatoly

The grandson of the famous Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru, Anatoliy Yevdokimenko, fled abroad in disgrace after the outbreak of a full-scale war, for which, as it turned out, his star grandmother had to throw away a considerable amount of money. Currently, the aspiring singer is trying to build a music career in Europe, for which he has chosen the ambiguous pseudonym SHMN. It reads as "Shaman," which is a specific trigger for Ukrainian listeners, as it is associated with the performer of the propaganda "anthem" of the so-called "special operation," "I am Russian."

However, Rotaru's grandson has an ironclad conviction that he will become a superstar abroad. That is why he was so eager to escape from Ukraine. At the same time, his self-confidence, which is more like arrogance and even arrogance, is not perceived by foreigners. These details were exclusively revealed to OBOZ.UA by an insider close to the celebrity family.

So, as we noted above, Sofia Mikhailovna allegedly sponsored her grandson's escape abroad. The "Chervona Ruta" singer herself decided to stay in Ukraine. Despite attempts by propagandists to spread the fake that the People's Artist had also left her homeland, it became known that the singer remains in her home near Kyiv in Pyatikhatky.

The insider revealed that Rotaru tries not to contact people or minimize live communication. The reason is the fear of contracting the coronavirus again. Rumor has it that the singer had a very difficult time with Omicron, a type of COVID-19 that scientists discovered in early 2022.

Sofia Mikhailovna allegedly considers Anatoly her favorite. According to an insider, she has a moderate relationship with her son, but the singer "does not care for her grandson." It is because of this attitude that Yevdokymenko Jr. allegedly developed arrogance in his character, as his grandmother "fulfills any of his whims."

So the People's Artist of Ukraine also fulfilled her whim to go abroad, for which she was forced to shell out a tidy sum, because it was not possible to realize her escape the first time. Moreover, according to the source, the people who sold the clandestine documents to the Yevdokymenkos knew whose descendants they were, so they "made money as best they could."

Anatolii's life abroad, according to the insider, is also supported by his celebrity grandmother. Meanwhile, he is trying to conquer the European music market. He is not very successful.

"He has unjustified confidence in his talent. It's quite difficult to establish communication in exile because of his boldness and arrogance, which foreigners categorically do not accept," the insider said.

Anatoliy chose the pseudonym SHMN, or "Shaman," because he is allegedly obsessed with esotericism.

As a reminder, in early March 2022, a group of men were detained on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border in the city of Mogilev who were trying to illegally flee Ukraine after Russia's full-scale invasion. Among them were the son and grandson of the famous Ukrainian singer Sophia Rotaru, Ruslan and Anatoliy Yevdokimenko.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, not so long ago Anatoliy Yevdokimenko suddenly remembered the war, from which he fled in 2022. Earlier he said that he was forced to leave to start a new life.
