Every year, the Eurovision Song Contest opens its doors to adult participants who are ready to compete for the title of the best vocalist and bring the show home. This year, the competition will be between newcomers who are not yet 18 and performers who have decades of experience in show business.
Some of the contestants came as part of bands, while others will be able to rely only on their talent. OBOZ.UA will tell you about the oldest and youngest contestants.
The oldest participant
This year, Spain will be represented by the pop duo Nebulossa, which includes 56-year-old vocalist Maria Bas. The Spaniard is currently the oldest artist to appear on the stage of the competition, but her image indicates her youthfulness.

Silia Kapsis, at the age of 17, achieved incredible success and became the representative of Cyprus. Although she has been singing since she was a little girl, her debut song was released only two years ago.

This year, Estonia will be represented by two bands at once – 5MIINUST and Puuluup. The second folk duo was formed in 2014 by 53-year-old Ramo Teder and 47-year-old Marco Weisson.
The youngest participant
Among the male contestants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, there are two of the youngest participants – Marcus and Martinus, twin brothers. Although the artists were born in Norway, they will represent Sweden.
