While the Ukrainian Armed Forces are at war: Tamerlan spoke harshly about Voloshyn, Honkovskyi and other "volunteers" vacationing in the Maldives

Tamerlan, a Ukrainian musician and, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, a military man and volunteer, believes that male influencers who go on a volunteer program to the Maldives and other resort destinations for vacation live in a parallel reality. While Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for freedom at the front and don't have a single day off, bloggers like Oleksandr Voloshyn and Andrii Honkovskyi spend thousands of dollars on "rest from the war."

The musician recalled the words of Captain Illia Yevlash, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Army, that one can publish fundraisers while fighting at the front, referring to the desire of bloggers and artists to have a reservation from the service. He shared his thoughts on the so-called volunteers in an interview with Bohdan Bespalov in cooperation with OBOZ.UA.

"I won't speak for anyone, I'll tell you my opinion frankly. I believe that this is a different reality. When women with children leave, for example, it is one thing. But when guys who are liable for military service do the same, who go on a volunteer program and end up somewhere on the ocean, it's a little strange. Now is the time when we need to be in the same emotional flow and support those who are having a hard time," the artist shared his opinion.

With the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, Tamerlan volunteered to serve, so the issue of "turning away from the war" is acute for him. However, he said that he is okay with artists' desire to stay in the rear if they are afraid to go to the front, but he does not take bloggers who decide to send themselves to the bench to help the army seriously.

"There used to be a conversation about bloggers who close down meetings, that they are more useful in the rear. But we can see for ourselves how these bloggers behave, having an imaginary privilege. The answer [of the spokesperson for the Armed Forces] was that it does not prevent them from doing their job and the meeting, being near Starlink somewhere not in the first position, but in the second. I believe that you cannot make any categories, that someone should, someone should not. We have a civic duty to our country, and no one has canceled it," he summarized.
