Kyiv mayor and former athlete Vitali Klitschko, who has three children with his ex-wife, singer Natalia Yehorova, told us about his relationship with his descendants and where they currently live. Due to Russia's full-scale invasion, the politician has not met with them in person for more than 2 years.

Klitschko has not lost contact with his ex-wife, as he spoke to her "a few days ago." He said this during a short interview with the "Tour of the Stars" program. He believes that it is his workload that prevents him from seeing his children, who now live abroad, in person.

"They were born abroad, they have lived abroad all their lives. Now they study in different countries. My youngest is in the United States, my eldest is in London, and my daughter is in the Netherlands, so it's very difficult to get them together. And it's very difficult for me to get away. We see each other through the means of communication, but no program can replace the feeling of hugging a child," said Klitschko.

He recalled that he did not pay enough attention to his two sons, 23-year-old Yegor-Daniel and 18-year-old Maksym, and his daughter, 21-year-old Yelyzaveta-Victoria, as children. He gave all his parental responsibilities to his ex-wife.

"I try to be a good father, but frankly, children need time, and I didn't spend as much time with my children as I should have. First, there was my sports career, training camps, competitions, and so on. Then there is politics, which takes up absolutely all my time. Now there is a war. And so, unfortunately, I don't pay much attention to my children. But their mother took over all the functions that their father needed as well," Klitschko said.

The politician's eldest son, Yegor-Daniel, is studying business management at the University of London. Like his father, he is also fond of sports, but not boxing, but basketball. Daughter Elizabeth-Victoria lives in the United States but previously studied in Amsterdam, where she studied psychology. The youngest child in the family, Maksym, according to his father, is studying in the United States, although it was recently reported that he graduated from a private school in the UK.
