The day before, the name of the new Miss Universe Ukraine 2024 became known: 20-year-old Alina Ponomarenko won the crown. According to social media, the woman from Odesa is engaged in charity and modeling.
In addition, Ponomarenko leads an active lifestyle. On her Instagram page, the beauty shares details of her life, including the work of her own charity initiative.
According to available data, she graduated from the Odesa Law Academy with a degree in International Justice and Law. In the Stories, the beauty admitted that she was fond of fashion and beauty since childhood, and participated in various contests. However, Miss Universe Ukraine noted that her main mission is to help others.
The 20-year-old founded a social initiative called Derevo Lyubovi (the Tree of Love). The organization's goal is to support older people in Odesa. Alina Ponomarenko and her colleagues provide grandparents with medicines, food, and other basic necessities. In addition, volunteers communicate with elderly Odesa redsidents and help them with their daily routine.
It is worth noting that the new Miss Universe Ukraine also raises money for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to provide the military with necessary items, and she is also a blood donor. "After the full-scale invasion, the need for blood donations has only increased. My blood type is rare, so I share it and talk about the importance of such voluntary donation in my blog," Ponomarenko said.
