It has become known what the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will look like at the Malmö Arena in Sweden next May. The designers combined moving LED cubes and a cross-shaped structure to create something unique.
The platform for the performance will be located in the middle of the hall, not at the end. The photos appeared on the official Eurovision website.
The concept was invented by production designer Florian Wieder and lighting and screen content designer Fredrik Stormby, and the contest organizers liked their design.

"We have never seen anything like this at Eurovision before and this concept gives us endless possibilities to create unique spaces for both the competing artists and the opening and intermediate acts. Florian and Fredrik's work is simply fantastic," said Executive Producer Ebba Adielsson.
The artists said they wanted to create an "unexpected and renewed" concept. The light and video installation will open up a space for the contestants to create modern and revolutionary performances.

As already mentioned, the stage itself will repeat the shape of a cross and will be divided into cubes. From above, viewers will see its reflection, and the contours will be highlighted with separate lighting. The stage can be surrounded by spectators from at least three sides.
