Vynnyk told for the first time why he suddenly disappeared from social media during a full-scale war: I went to the police

The popular Ukrainian singer Oleg Vynnyk disappeared from the information space over a year ago. After the full-scale invasion, he still published some posts on Instagram condemning Russian aggression and supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but in April 2022, he abruptly stopped talking and completely stopped appearing on social media.

Recently, the Krupnyi Plan YouTube channel released a teaser of Vynnyk's first interview during the full-scale war, exclusive fragments of which were shared on Instagram by the head of the singer's fan club, Valeria Baron. In it, the artist explains his disappearance from social media.

According to the star, he does not address the audience because he does not have access to his own pages.

"I still don't have access to my pages on social media," Vynnyk said in the interview.

In response, the journalist asked whether the singer had turned to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to resolve the issue.

Vynnyk assured her: "Of course."

As a reminder, the last post on the celebrity's page was posted on 24 April 2022, when the musician congratulated his fans on Easter. After that, he never appeared on Instagram or other platforms to communicate with the audience.

However, exactly one year later, in April 2023, fans noticed changes on the artist's page - all the publications disappeared. Photos and videos, of which there were about a thousand, were deleted or archived.

We would like to add that Vynnyk's sudden disappearance from the information space gave rise to rumours about his illness. Previously, the star's fans assumed that he had been diagnosed with cancer. Colleagues and the performer's inner circle confirmed that he was seriously ill, but did not name the diagnosis. It is only known that the artist is being treated for the disease in Germany.

In Berlin, as you know, Vynnyk is not sitting idle, but helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He received two awards for his cooperation and volunteer work.
