Vin Diesel's former assistant accused the actor of harassment: he pushed her against the wall and forced her to perform sexual acts

Asta Jonasson, a former assistant to the star of the Fast and the Furious media franchise, American actor Vin Diesel, has claimed that in 2010 he assaulted her and forced her to perform sexual acts, ignoring her objections. This allegedly happened during the filming of the fifth installment of the cult films in a hotel room in Atlanta, USA.

The lawsuit will be heard by a Los Angeles court. Vin Diesel's representatives have not yet responded to the public accusations, although the media have already asked them to do so, Reuters reports.

In her appeal to the court, the victim claims that Diesel forcibly groped her breasts and kissed her, even though he had spent the night entertaining other women in his hotel room.

"Mr. Diesel ignored Ms. Jonasson's clear statements that she did not consent to his sexual advances. Sexual harassment in the workplace will never stop if powerful men are protected from accountability," the lawyer said in a statement.

Asta Jonasson also said in the lawsuit that the actor forced her to grab the rapist's genitals, pushed the assistant against the wall and began to commit sexual misconduct until he satisfied himself. After that, the star left her room, Diesel's former assistant said.

According to her, a few hours after the incident, the employer fired the assistant, and she decided to keep silent, fearing to enter into a public conflict with "one of the highest-budget actors."
