Viktor Broniuk recalls how he almost brought a traumatic pistol to a meeting with the president: the time was unstable
Ukrainian musician and leader of the band "TIK" Viktor Broniuk recalled how he once almost brought a traumatic pistol to a meeting with the president. The artist recalled that he was given the weapon in 2013, but the incident took place much later, during Petro Poroshenko's term in office.
The performer told about it in the music podcast "SuchCukrMuz." The celebrity did not deny the host's words that the incident occurred when, sometime after Kuzma Skriabin's death, the previous head of state invited the artists to a public meeting.
"I have a registered gun. To be honest, I've never been a fan of weapons, but perhaps because I had certain feelings or my historical education gave me signs, in 2013 I was given a traumatic pistol. Back then, the time was unstable, I wouldn't say it's stable now, but I had a permit and it was traveling with me in my bag," the musician said.
Viktor Broniuk said that back then he had to move around a lot at night, so he kept the weapon with him for his own safety.
According to the performer, when he was on his way to a meeting with the president, he simply forgot that he had a traumatic pistol with him. However, at the moment of passing the metal detector, the leader of the band "TIK" immediately took the weapon out of his bag to avoid any problems.
