Popular Ukrainian music video maker Tanu Muino who produces music videos for famous singers has been nominated for the MTV Music Video Awards in different categories two times. She was recognized for her work with American singer Doja Cat.

Tanu Muino will compete in the Best Director and Video of the Year categories.

Among the Ukrainian's competitors are music videos by Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, SZA and Megan Thee Stallion.

The music video for the track Doja Cat appeared on YouTube on June 16, 2023. The video features many unconventional angles and visuals that are Tanu Muino's trademark.

The singer appeared nude in the clip, but the Ukrainian managed to censor the image beautifully, avoiding explicit scenes.

By the way, Imagine Dragons' music video filmed in Ukraine is also on the list of nominations. It got in the special category "Video for Good".

The video was filmed for the song Crushed, which means broken. Throughout the video, the fans of the band showed shots from the destroyed village of Novohryhorivka in the iMykolaiv region and introduced the audience to the main character, 14-year-old Sasha.
