Large-scale wildfires continue to rage in California, turning everything in their path to ash. The devastating fire has reached the house of Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a Ukrainian-American choreographer and Dancing with the Stars judge who has been living in the United States for many years.

The terrifying fire is already visible from the bedroom window of the 44-year-old dancer's home. He posted the video on his Instagram page.

"This is the same Palisades fire which is still only 9% contained after burning for two days," the celebrity said.

The footage shows that the fire was not far from the house where Maksim Chmerkovskiy lives with his wife, professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd, and three sons: Milan Maksim, Shai and Rio, a bright fire is burning. The approaching danger causes great concern for the choreographer, "It's very scary. It is huge and very close."

It is not known at this time whether the dancers' family will have to evacuate their home. As Peta noted on her Instagram, their family is fine. They live in a region that has not yet been affected by the natural disaster, but according to special maps, there are fires around their village.

Peta also called on everyone who has the opportunity to volunteer and help people who have lost everything in the fires.
