The winner of the National Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024, 12-year-old Artem Kotenko, is from the long-suffering town of Okhtyrka, Sumy region. Artem Kotenko started his life with music at the age of 3, and at 5 he began to study vocals professionally. He has already won the Black Sea Games in 2021. This is not the young man's first attempt to conquer the Eurovision Song Contest - in 2023, he was included in the longlist of the National Selection. His dream is to become famous all over the world and show his fans what talent, as he says, lives in Ukraine.

It is worth noting that the performance of last year's grand finalist at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was watched by over 225 thousand people in 11 months. Anastasia Dymyd represented Ukraine in 2023 with the song "Flower". The girl won fifth place on the international stage for her country.

Anastasia Dymyd's performance has been viewed over 225 thousand times.

Unlike the other years of Junior Eurovision, which are already behind us, it was Artem Kotenko and Anastasia Dymyd who attracted a lot of attention to the junior show among Ukrainians who had previously only watched the main Eurovision Song Contest.
