Ukraine's main competitor at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is losing ground because of a song: Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil are 2.5 times behind

Ukraine's chances of winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 are rapidly increasing in the bookmakers' rankings after the main competitor of the Ukrainians, a participant from the UK, showed a fragment of his contest track. Now Jerry Heil and alyona alyona have a record 20%.

Four days ago, the singers had an 18% chance of winning, and the second place in the ranking was occupied by British singer Olly Alexander with 9%. The current table is available on the Eurovision World website.

Since then, there has been only one important update – a British artist whose song was not known, published a teaser of the contest track "Dizzy".

The combination of a dance motif and love lyrics did not allow Olly to rise in the ranking, but rather slightly reduced his chances of winning.

It should be added that the lyrical composition cannot be called a complete failure either. It has garnered over 50 thousand likes, and many of the singer's subscribers have expressed their expectations that the track will be successful. The release will take place on March 1.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainians confidently hold the top spot in the bookmakers' rankings. Since the National Selection viewers decided on their favorite, European fans consider the track "Teresa & Maria" to be the most deserving of victory.

About 20 other countries have not decided on their participants and their songs. Among them, for example, are Italy and Iceland, which are ranked 3rd and 4th in the ranking with a 6% chance of winning.

As a reminder, Ukraine will perform in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
