"This is not a shade, but the blood of Ukrainians." The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine addressed the world through the Russian Red lipstick by MAC Cosmetics

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed the world through MAC and the name of their popular lipstick tone - Russian Red

Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted sharply to the scandal involving the world-famous Canadian company MAC Cosmetics over the name of one of its lipstick colors, which directly alludes to Russian terrorism. Russian Red is the shameful name given to the perfect lipstick color that is adored around the world and is incredibly strongly associated with the blood of Ukrainians.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was outraged on social network X about foreign companies supporting Russian culture even in the form of an innocent name. This is not surprising, because as long as Ukraine is at war with its eastern terrorist neighbor, Russia, other states see nothing wrong with popularizing Russians.

"It's not about beauty or love. This is the color of the blood of Ukrainians who are killed by Russia every day. This is the true color of war, which no one should ever feel," the Ministry wrote, attaching a photo from the Instagram page of Svitlana Paveletska, one of the founders of the #knyholav book publishing house and the beloved of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Earlier, the woman noted that this shade had disappeared from the Ukrainian market, but it is still available in the world under the same name. "Red. Love or blood?" she was outraged.

"Russian Red" is still the name of the iconic lipstick shade by MAC Cosmetics. The product has been discontinued for the Ukrainian market, but the bright red lipstick from MAC is still sold worldwide under the name "Russian Red," the woman explained.

Paveletskaya reminded her followers that the MAC brand is actually "Russian red," explaining the meaning of the so-called Russian propaganda and publishing several posters calling on the company to change its name. However, in some of the photos, she replaced the letter "S" in the word Russia with a "Z", which is associated with the country's terrorist cult.

"During the two years of war, we have realized more than ever what Russian Red looks like, and this name has acquired a completely different meaning. Because Russian Red is not a shade of lipstick that a woman should put on her lips. It is thousands of Ukrainian lives. These are hundreds of lost children. These are thousands of people who are now homeless. These are civilian prisoners. These are military prisoners of war," she wrote.

Paveletska shamed the company: "And if for such a large corporation, the best red tone has the honor of being called after an undercountry... Maybe we need to explain to the company what it really is - Russian Red?"
