The winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, Nemo from Switzerland, admitted that they do not have the crystal cup. The organizers took the prize from the artist after a photo shoot and press conference.
At the moment, the show participant does not know whether he will get the award back, as he has not heard any clear promises. Nemo was told about this during a radio broadcast, the video of which appeared on TalkTok.
In a conversation with the hosts, the singer admitted that his crystal cup was not in his suitcase. The prize, which the organizers gave out to replace the one that was broken on stage, was simply taken back.
"We don't know exactly what happened, but it (the crystal microphone – ed.) is not in my suitcase, so we are working on finding it again. I really don't know where it is now," Nemo said, laughing.
The singer of the winning song The Code joked that the investigation was ongoing and suggested that the organizing committee might mail the award later.
"They gave me a new one when mine broke. Then they took it away because it was not an official prize, but a spare," Nemo recalled.

As a reminder, during his encore, the artist hit the stage with the cup, and it broke into two pieces. Almost immediately, the winner was brought another microphone, with which he posed for a photo. By the way, such an incident already happened in 2009.
