The sound engineer of the Piccardian Tertia dies: Bohdan Stefura was one of the organizers of the "Chervona Ruta" festival

Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, sound engineer of the Piccardian Tertia band Bohdan Stefura passed away at the age of 66. He was also one of the organizers of the Chervona Ruta song festival in 1989.

The loss was announced by the members of the Piccardian Tertia on the group's official Facebook page. Stefura's colleagues expressed their condolences.

"Our good friend is gone," the post reads. The page notes that hundreds of joint performances, both on the Ukrainian stage and abroad, will remain in the memory of the comrades.

Bohdan Stefura has a long record of works that he created as a sound engineer for such Ukrainian bands as Vatra, Zhayvir, and Medicus.

In 1989, he joined the organization of the famous Chervona Ruta youth song festival. Later, in the 1990s, Stefura went to work in the United States, but soon returned to Ukraine, founding the Melos recording studio in Lviv.
