"The proposal was a long time ago." Lama admits why she's not planning a wedding and children with boyfriend 18 years younger than her

Ukrainian singer Natalia Dzenkiv, better known by her stage name Lama, has revealed why she does not plan to marry and have children with her chosen one Roman, who is 18 years younger than her. According to the performer, she is not yet ready to devote herself to motherhood, as she realizes that she has much more potential in her career.

The artist spoke about this for the Weekend Show project on the M1 YouTube channel. She noted that she is just trying to live her life in a way that makes her feel as comfortable as possible.

"When I was 20, my friends told me that I should get married and have children. And I lived with this for a long time, I'm 21 there, and everyone says: "Have children". But I don't want to, I'm not drawn to it. I realize that I have much more potential in my art. I still realize that it's a good thing I didn't do it, because you need to have a great talent for it. I live my life the way I like. I'm comfortable, I have more time for songs and music," the singer said.

Lama recalled that as a child she liked to wear white dresses that resembled wedding dresses and play with dolls and strollers, but as an adult, her views changed a bit. The singer doesn't deny that sooner or later she will find herself in the role of a bride, and later a wife, when "there is a need" for everything to happen.

"The offer was made a long time ago. And this is the most interesting thing because everything else is not interesting. Your man makes a proposal, everything is beautiful and romantic, which means he wants to marry you. And then you don't need all the rest," the star said.

According to the celebrity, she has now achieved a special balance in her life, so even if she decides to get married, she wants to do without unnecessary scale.
