British filmmaker Steven Knight, creator of the series "Peaky Blinders" with Oscar-winning Cillian Murphy, sent a gift to the legendary National Guard unit from Kharkiv. The warriors of "Peaky Blinders" received three dozen hats from England by Garrison Tailors brand - these hats have become an attribute of the iconic gangsters from Birmingham.

In particular, the gift was decorated with the autograph of Murphy, who played the main role in the series. Yaroslav Chyzhenko shared the photos of the Ukrainian defenders on his Facebook page.

The world learned about the Kharkiv-based unit "Peaky Blinders" after a BBC story showed the soldiers defending Kharkiv region during the Russian offensive in the north. The soldiers did not miss the opportunity to hand over their caps to the famous actor.

The star received a gift from Ukrainians - he kept one of the caps as a souvenir, and signed and sent the other back to Ukrainians, writes Vysokyi Zamok. Currently, Ukrainian defenders of the special forces group "Peaky Blinders" of the separate special forces detachment "Omega" of the National Guard of Ukraine are destroying Russian occupiers in the hottest spots of the front.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA talked to Myroslav Kuvaldin, who is at war, about his adult sons, his Russian mother and his traitorous colleagues: "I have seen my wife only once in a year".
