The mother of the deceased Sashko, whom the whole country was looking for at the beginning of the great war, got married and addressed Ukrainians with gratitude

Anna Yakhno, the mother of four-year-old Sasha, whose death at the beginning of the full-scale invasion shocked the whole world, shared with her followers the good news of her marriage. The woman said that she got married to her beloved on January 5, 2024. For a long time, she did not tell anyone about it and decided to reveal the secret for the first time on Valentine's Day, February 14.

And today, on February 16, Anna addressed Ukrainians with words of gratitude. The woman shared that she had received many congratulations and words of support from her compatriots, which was the biggest gift for her. The Ukrainian posted the message on her personal Instagram page, where she has more than 27.5 thousand followers.

According to Anna, she and her now official husband did not organize a luxurious wedding - this day belonged only to the two of them. The couple signed their marriage license without any witnesses, traditions, or other attributes. For a woman who lost a child, the birth of a family became a symbol of hope.

"It's time to make new plans and a future together. The birthday of our family has become a symbol of hope for me and proof that light always comes after the darkest period of life, and it continues even after the most terrible trials. It is vital for any person to be loved. I wish each of you to meet someone to whom you can trust your heart without fear or hesitation as soon as possible. Someone who will protect this heart with special tenderness. Someone who will help you survive all the troubles and give you the most unforgettable moments in this life. I wish you to meet your love!" Anna wrote touchingly, showing her first smiling photo in a long time.

The woman was wearing a trendy three-piece suit in a milky shade. Obviously, this stylish set replaced her traditional wedding dress.

On March 10, 2022, Sashko, his grandmother and 6 other people tried to cross the Dnipro River by boat from the Vyshhorod area, which was blocked by Russian invaders. While rowing, the boat overturned, Sasha's grandmother drowned, and rescuers began looking for the boy, who was wearing a life jacket.

The child ended up in a cold current, and they searched for him all over Ukraine. Unfortunately, little Sasha was found dead. This news was a tragedy for every Ukrainian.

On September 1, 2022, Anna Yakhno addressed her son in a touching speech. She stated with pain that today many Ukrainian children will not sit at their desks in schools because they were killed by Russia.

"Sasha, you dreamed of going to school so much. You are forever our smartest, kindest and most beloved boy. Forgive this cruel world that took away all your dreams. It took you away, my love. I still do not believe and do not understand why. You were, you are and you will always be our best boy. You will never go to the first grade, but you are such a small four-year-old boy, I think you have told the whole world how terrible, unjust and unnecessary wars are, what horror and pain they bring. Wake up, World! On September 1, Sasha and at least 380 other children will never go to school again, they died in this damn war. I wish every child who went to school today safety and a peaceful sky as soon as possible!" the woman wrote.
