The most famous police officer of Ukraine, who serves in the assault brigade "Rage", sends greetings to Farion: the issue of language is not an issue for us
The most famous Kyiv police officer Liudmyla Milevych, who became famous for her model appearance in 2015, spoke out about the position of philologist Iryna Farion on Russian-speaking defenders. The law enforcement officer is currently serving as a member of the National Police's Joint Assault Brigade "Rage" and assures that the soldiers have "more important issues than the language issue" at the front.
"What is too much is not healthy," Milevych says of Farion, adding that she, in her opinion, "went to extremes" when she called Russian-speaking soldiers of the Armed Forces "Russians." The police defender shared her thoughts in an exclusive interview with OBOZ.UA.
"The issue of language is not an issue in our brigade. Each of us has a common goal, which is more important than the language we speak. When every day you have to defend the country, your families, your comrades, and yourself. Is that what you think about at that moment? Hardly about the language issue. In our brigade, most of us speak Ukrainian, but there are also Russian speakers. And no one cares, because we are united by something much more important than the language we speak," commented Milevych.

Farion, we recall, categorically condemned all Russian-speaking heroes, causing public outrage with her statements. In particular, the philologist said the following: "I cannot call them [the military] Ukrainians. If they do not speak Ukrainian, then let them call themselves 'Russians'. Why are they so crazy? If they are such great patriots, show your patriotism."
Milevych noted that her views are completely opposite to those of Iryna Dmytrivna.
"Ukrainians should now be united by common goals, hope, and love for Ukraine. In my opinion, this is more important than the fact that someone speaks a different language. As for Iryna Farion... Our views are categorically different. As they say: "What is too much is not healthy." This is exactly about Farion. The person has gone to extremes. I cannot support this," commented Liudmyla.
