Ukrainian actor Viktor Radu, known for the TV series Liquidation, died on February 14 at the age of 68. The Odesa Theater for Young Viewers reported that the heart of the talented theater actor gave out.

His funeral will take place today, February 20, in Odesa. This was written on the Facebook page of the Odesa Yurii Olesha Theater for Young Audiences.

"Our dear Viktor Andriyovych, how can it be? Viktor Andriyovych Radu worked at the Odesa Young Spectator Theater for many years - since September 1987. He was always an ideal partner on stage, a reliable worker, a real man, and a very bright person. Viktor Andriyovych helped many young actors, passed on the secrets of acting to them, and never refused new roles," the post reads.

Employees of the orphaned theater said that the actor made a masterpiece out of every role, and was especially active in recent years.

He played the following roles: Dorant (A Burgher in the Nobility), Mr. Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), Uncle Leo (The Forest Song), Sultan (Aladdin's Magic Lamp), Akela (Mauhli), The Author (Levushka), Pinchus (May You Be Happy!"), Cupcake (The Taste of the Sun), Mr. Pendleton (Pollianna), Pepe (Letters to Seville), and Omelko Kaidash (The Kaidash Family).

In 2020, the TV series "Epiphany" with his participation was released. The artist also played in the films Anka from Moldavanka, The Fugitive, Deja Vu, Hour X, Hurt Me, and others.

The minister of art passed away suddenly for everyone who knew him. Colleagues call the actor kind, generous, and talented and recall his simplicity and selflessness.

"Goodness lived in him naturally, filled his soul. And it spread to everyone around him. He also felt something good in each of us, saw this good, and supported us. Communication with him always inspired and embraced, it was calm and cozy with him," the obituary wrote.
