The date of the Eurovision Song Contest final has been announced

"Suspilne"  has announced the date of the final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025. Ukrainian artists will compete for the opportunity to represent Ukraine in the international arena of the song contest on February 8, 2025.

The relevant information was published on the official website of "Public Broadcasting." The published project states that it is planned to spend UAH 10 million 500 thousand on organizing the show.

Those who want to try their hand at the song contest can apply for participation in the National Selection until November 10 inclusive. This year's music producer of the national competition, Tina Karol, named the main requirements for the performers' compositions: "These should be original songs by the authors. Tracks based on other compositions are not accepted. Folk songs are not accepted. Songs that have already been published, even if it is only 10 seconds."

It is worth noting that Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland. The winners of the 68th song contest were representatives of the country – Nemo, so their homeland took responsibility for hosting the next show.

The artist started talking about her desire to participate in the competition in the spring of 2024, and on the first day of the application process, she offered her candidacy.

Recently, Ziferblat also announced their return to the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The musicians applied to the show's organizers, sending several songs for consideration.
