The Bear's 'cousin' turned out to be an ardent supporter of Ukraine: even his wife is a Ukrainian photographer
Ebon Moss-Bachrach, the star of FX TV series The Bear, is married to a Ukrainian woman and supports Ukraine on his official social media page. The American actor's girlfriend is Yelena Yemchuk, originally from Kyiv.
In his posts, Moss-Bachrach calls for donations to BlueCheck Ukraine, a company that funds NGOs on the front line. In addition, the Ukrainian flag can be seen on the star's Instagram profile.

The celebrity's wife Yelena Yemchuk is a famous photographer, artist and film director. She was born in Kyiv to an athlete and a teacher. In her teens, Yemchuk and her family emigrated to the United States, settling in Brooklyn, New York.

Before leaving, Yemchuk spent a summer in Hydropark, which served as the inspiration for her 2011 book of the same name. The artist compared the area to the American Coney Island, calling it "the Soviet version of the island, where the forests and embankments of the district are turned into a playground."

The Ukrainian studied at Parsons School of Design in New York and ArtCenter College in Pasadena, California. She first felt drawn to photography when her father gave her a camera for her birthday.
